My research is focused on the influence and impact of the US printed and broadcast media on the development and implementation of space policy during the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations.
My real area of interest is the intersection of Presidential politics, NASA perception building and media commentary. It aims to answer what formative influence - if any the US media (newspapers, broadcasters, trade and popular magazines) had on Presdidential decision making.
